Meet the Staff


Dr. Nathan Webster, DVM

Dr. Nathan graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 and opened Lakemont Village Veterinary Hospital several years later in May of 1999.  He enjoys his work and the wide range of problem solving that general practice brings.  Outside of his profession, Nathan has many hobbies including bicycling, running, kayaking, and playing several musical instruments (violin, mandolin, and banjo).  He lives in Seattle near Woodland Park with his wife Jen, sons Milo and Silas, two cats, and their Golden Retriever Lucy.


Dr. Sara Render Hopkins, DVM

Dr. Sara joined the practice in January 2002 after moving from a mixed animal practice north of Bellingham, Washington.  She graduated from the veterinary school at Washington State University in 2000.  Her hobbies include kayaking, camping, reading, and traveling.  Dr. Sara lives north of Seattle with her husband Dennis, son Noah, terrier mix Roy and cat Tallulah.


Carrie, BA LVT

Manager

Carrie joined the Lakemont team after graduating with a BA from Ohio State University and moving to Seattle in 2000.  Her interests include photography, jewelry design, travel, reading, film, hiking, and spending time with Kenzie (pictured) and Truen Kismet (a kitten in need that landed on the doorstep of LVVH in 2003). Kenzie and Carrie are registered Pet Partners with The Delta Society. 


 

 Jonathan

Office Assistant / Veterinary Assistant

Jonathan joined the staff at Lakemont in August of 2007.  He considers the Lakemont area home.  His first experience working with animals and the public came when he was fourteen, volunteering at the Pacific Science Center with ferrets and rats.  Jonathan loves to travel, play basketball and visit with family and friends.  He was born in Calcutta, India and has lived in Arizona, Colorado and Washington.  He shares a home with mom, dad, a sister and two Havanese puppies, Lola and Rico (pictured).


Kelly

Veterinary Assistant

Kelly joined the practice in February of 2010.  She has finished her studies as a Veterinary Technician and is waiting to sit for the National Exam this spring.  Kelly's hobbies include baking sweets, viewing the latest films, camping, horseback riding, and snowboarding.  She resides in Federal Way with her dogs Bob, Radar and Tobey.


Carly, BS

Veterinary Assistant

Carly joined the practice in November of 2010.  She graduated from the University of Washington in 2005 with a degree in Zoology.  Carly currently lives with her two dogs, three cats, three birds, a rabbit and her boyfriend.  In her spare time Carly enjoys volunteering for Pasado's Safe Haven, hiking and snowboarding.
